How do I register?1

If this is your first time using our service here is how you register:

1. Run a free search report via any of the search boxes across our site and click "Get Report" beside any of the results that are returned.

2. Purchase a single report or a monthly, unlimited membership via the prompts on the screen.

Does your web site use cookies?2

Yes. While our web site does use cookies on this site, we do not use them to collect any personally identifiable information. Our cookies are used for legitimate business purposes only. For instance, cookies allow us to store your user-ID during your visit to keep track of reports you have ordered or any updates to those reports. Cookies also help us detect potential fraud or misuse of our system.

Can more than one person use an account? 3

The system restricts access to a single user. This is done for your protection because when your membership expires you are given the option to renew your account, thus charging your credit card for another membership and only the account holder should be able to do that. Please protect your user name and password.

What if I forgot my user name or password? 4

Click here and follow the subsequent instructions to have your user name and password emailed to the email address we have on file for your account.

Why doesn't my password work? 5

If you are receiving an error message stating the system cannot authenticate you, please click here to retrieve your user name and password. If you still cannot login via your new password, please contact us here.

How do I renew my membership? 6

When your membership expires you will be prompted to renew when you log into your account.

How do I change my password? 7

Our web site allows you to change your password at any time. You must first login to your account and then go to your account information page where you can change your password.

While logged into your account click “My Account” and then click the link to cancel underneath your membership details. If you have trouble with this process, contact us here.

I live outside the United States. How do I register? 11

Currently our web site accepts credit cards from within the United States only. We use address verification for fraud detection when accepting credit cards and our address verification database covers the United States only.

How do I register my name and address so people can find me? 12

Our databases are extracted from public records compiled from existing databases all over the United States. We do not actually create the records; we simply give you the ability to search them. We cannot add or delete records form the databases displayed on our web site.

I did not find my subject. Do I still get billed? 13

Our web site gives you the ability to run an unlimited number of searches for one low price. If you purchase a single report and later decide that you have ran report for the wrong person, you must purchase an additional report for another search if you do not have a membership. We do not issue refunds for invalid searches.

How often do I get billed? 14

You are billed when you purchase any single report. If you enroll into a trial or a membership you will be billed at the interval described in your billing agreement.

What name will appear on my credit card statement? 15

The description of a charge from us will appear on your credit card billing statement as "Veromi"

What is a secure server? 17

A secure server is a system that uses methods of encrypting the data passed between your computer and ours. It keeps your credit card and personal user information from being intercepted by unauthorized entities on the internet.

What information does your web site collect on me? 18

Our web site only collects personally identifiable information with your consent. By registering to use our web site, you will be asked for your name, address, and other similar information.

Does your web site add my personal information to its databases? 19

No, our web site requires personal information for billing purposes only. In order to complete your registration with us, you will be required to provide payment information, including your credit card number and expiration date. This information is only used to complete a transaction and will not be added to our public records databases.

How do I remove myself from these records? 20

We value your privacy and, upon request, can block your records from being shown in many, but not all, of our search results. Unless otherwise required by law, we will only accept opt-out requests directly from the individual whose information is being opted-out and we reserve the right to reject all other opt-out requests. If you would like us to remove your records, you should contact us by writing a letter giving us your:

Last name

Middle initial

Aliases and A.K.A.'s

Complete current address

Complete former addresses going back 20 years

Date of Birth - including month, day, and year

It is also very helpful to include a print out of the records that you wish to have suppressed.

This information will be kept confidential and is used to ensure complete suppression of your records.

What types of searches are available on your web site? 21

Currently our web site offers name and address records, phone records, marriage records, divorce records, death records, real property records, bankruptcy/tax lien/civil judgment records, and criminal records. If we do not have what you are looking for, check back in the future because we are constantly updating our data and adding new public records sources.

What criteria should I use when searching? 22

Our public records databases contain over 10 billion records from a wide variety of public record sources. There are a wide variety of ways the databases can be searched. Search criteria can include:

House Number, Street Name

City, State

Phone Number

We encourage our members to experiment by running multiple searches with different combinations of search criteria. The records in our database come from many different public record databases and an individual's name may be spelled differently in different databases.

Where does your data come from? 23

The records come from public records that are compiled by various public offices and agencies with the intent and for the purpose of being made publicly available. The records also come from publicly available information. Our records are compiled from many public record sources including but not limited to: white pages information, real property records, death records, magazine subscriptions and voter registration. Record collection for some databases began in the early 1980's so we cannot guarantee accuracy of all records.

What is a Comprehensive Background Check? 24

A comprehensive Background Check is a single comprehensive report that can be run on virtually any individual found in our database. When you run a name, address, or phone search, click on one of the returned names to get the details for that person (if available) and click on the "Get Report" button. A Comprehensive Background Check searches over 10 billion records and automatically cross references the results to return a single comprehensive report.

I looked up a name and the address was out of date? 25

Our database contains over 10 billion records. When you consider there are approximately 290 million people in the United States, this means there are about 34 records for every person. This is because records are never deleted from our database and are continually added. Every time an individual moves and a new address is reported, the new address is added to the database and the old address remains in the database as well. Our databases have records dating back to the early 1980's, which equates to a 33-year address history for some individuals. When you receive your results, you may receive more than one historical record for your individual.

I looked up myself and found an old address? 26

Our database contains records dating back to the early 1980's through to the current month. The database contains long address histories on some individuals and this may be why an old address is showing up in your search results. Your current address is most likely in the database but not being returned in your result set.

I want to locate an old friend. Will your web site run searches for me? 27

Our web site is the most powerful, automated, self-service, public record retrieval system on the web. Our system is self-serve and we don't currently have support staff that will run searches for you.

How do I search by Social security number? 28

I found my search subject and want to contact them? 29

Our service is great tool for locating lost friends and classmates but and it is up to you how to contact them with this information. If the contact information we have listed is out of date, you must continue your search to locate their new details.

How do I find somebody by maiden name? 30

Finding a woman with only her maiden name can be difficult. We recommend performing a name search using her maiden name to uncover her previous addresses. Performing an address search on each previous address will generate a list of individuals who have resided at the addresses over the years. This list may include your search subject with her married name. Once you find her married name, perform a name search using that name to uncover her most current address. Another alternative is to run a comprehensive background check after locating your subject in our database by clicking on a name in the results.

I am looking for an e-mail address for a person? 31

Some, but not all of results contain an email address or multiple email addresses. We have no way of validating if that is their current email address or if they check that email address. Many people use multiple email addresses or fictitious names to send/receive email.
